Regardless of the chosen color or style, every shield provides exceptional UV protection, blocking 91% of UV/A and 99% of UV/B light, as per the AATCC-138 test standard.
To combat the buildup of moisture from breathing and humidity, the shields are treated with an anti-fog coating on the interior surface. This treatment ensures optimal optical clarity and a clear field of vision, even in challenging environmental conditions.
Maintaining the shield's pristine condition is essential, and Biltwell provides guidelines for proper care and maintenance. To clean the shield, users should use a mild soapy water solution and a microfiber cloth to gently remove any bugs or road debris. After cleaning, the shield should be dried with a second clean microfiber towel.
