The Gringo full-face helmet, a top choice among modern bikeriders, has been introduced by us a decade ago. To provide a higher level of rider protection, the latest iteration of our classic helmet now meets the European Union's more robust ECE R22.06 safety standards.
The lightweight and highly impact-resistant injection-molded ABS outer shell is the foundation of the helmet's construction. Complementing this is the new Dual Density expanded polystyrene (EPS) internal safety shell, which absorbs and dissipates impact energy without compromising comfort.
To enhance energy dissipation during front impacts, the helmet features a molded urethane chin bar pad. The chin strap, meanwhile, incorporates brushed fleece Lycra touchpoints for comfort, and a D-ring retention system with a red quick-release pull tab for speedy removal.
The removable and replaceable comfort liner and cheek pads are crafted with fleece Lycra and open-cell foam padding, designed to absorb and evaporate perspiration, ensuring a comfortable riding experience.
To maximize airflow around the head and promote coolness and comfort, the helmet boasts a new BioFoam head form panel and ventilated polyester padding. Additionally, the molded EPS ear pockets accommodate select aftermarket audio accessories.
Certified to both the US DOT FMVSS No. 218 and the ECE R22.06 standards, the Gringo full-face helmet offers riders a comprehensive safety solution, blending advanced features and construction techniques to provide exceptional protection and comfort on the road.
