Our ECE-certified R22.06 Gringo, Gringo S, and Gringo SV helmets feature removable cheek pads, allowing you to replace old or dirty ones, or fine-tune the comfort level by using a thinner or thicker set, depending on your preference. This cheek pad set is compatible with all ECE Gringo, Gringo S, and Gringo SV helmets, but it uses a different color mesh compared to the previous ECE 22.05 cheek pads.
The cheek pads are made of brushed fleece Lycra material, which effectively wicks sweat from your skin, enhancing your overall comfort. The open-cell foam inside the pads increases airflow and accelerates the drying process.
For easy removal and installation, the pads feature stainless-steel snaps on an ABS plastic backing. The construction of the pads is hand-stitched, ensuring a durable and high-quality finish.
To accommodate different head shapes and sizes, the cheek pads are available in various thicknesses, allowing you to achieve a custom fit. Please refer to the chart in the product photos to select the appropriate thickness for your needs.
The cheek pads are sold in pairs, ensuring a symmetrical and balanced fit on your helmet.
It is important to note that you should never clean the helmet's comfort liner components in a washing machine or dryer. Instead, gently immerse them in soapy water and squeeze them to release any dirt or oils. To dry the pads, wrap them loosely in a plush towel, squeeze them to absorb excess moisture, and then hang them to air dry. Allow 24 hours for the pads to fully dry before reinstalling them in your helmet.
