We offer replaceable cheek pads for our ECE-certified Gringo and Gringo S helmets, allowing you to swap out old or dirty pads and fine-tune your comfort by choosing a thinner or thicker set based on your preference. The technical details of these comfort liners are as follows:
The pads are made from a brushed fleece Lycra material that wicks sweat from the skin, providing greater comfort. The open-cell foam inside the pads increases airflow and accelerates drying. The pads feature stainless-steel snaps on an ABS plastic backing, enabling quick and easy removal and installation. The hand-stitched construction ensures durability, and the pads are available in different thicknesses to achieve a customized fit, as detailed in the chart in the photos.
It is important to note that the helmet comfort liner components should never be cleaned in a washing machine or dryer. Instead, the pads should be immersed in soapy water and gently squeezed to release any dirt and oils. To dry, the wet pads should be loosely wrapped in a plush towel and gently squeezed to absorb excess moisture, then hung to air dry. It is recommended to wait 24 hours before reinstalling the clean pads in your helmet.
This flexibility in customizing the comfort liners allows you to maintain your helmet's fit and performance, ensuring optimal protection and a comfortable riding experience.
