The Biltwell GringoSV, also known as the Biltwell Classic Full Face with shield and vents, takes the classic motorcycle aesthetic that was reenergized a decade ago and propels it in a bold new direction. The result is a helmet that offers world-class comfort, functionality, and style.

Compared to the previous ECE 22.05 model, which utilized only two shell sizes, our new ECE 22.06 compliant helmets now come in three shell sizes. This means the fit is more accurate and comfortable, especially for wearers in the Medium and XXL ranges. Be sure to consult the revised sizing chart before ordering a new helmet to ensure it matches the size of your current model.

The helmet's injection-molded ABS outer shell is lightweight yet highly resistant to impacts. The Evolutionary Gringo S shell styling features front, side, and rear vent ports, which improve interior airflow, moisture dissipation, and cooling. The new Dual Density expanded polystyrene (EPS) internal safety shell absorbs and dissipates impact energy without compromising comfort.

Adjustable vents above the eye port allow you to regulate internal airflow, helping to cool and dry your head. The molded urethane chin bar pad dissipates energy during front impacts, while the chin strap features brushed fleece Lycra touchpoints for added comfort and a D-ring retention system with a red quick-release pull tab for speedy removal.

The CE-certified, injection-molded polycarbonate shield boasts anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments for durability and safety. The rugged hinge hardware with robust detents allows you to ride with the shield open at slower speeds to increase cooling airflow. Additionally, the anodized aluminum washers and stainless-steel hinge screws can be swapped with different colors and finishes to personalize the look of your helmet (hinge hardware sets available separately).

The removable/replaceable comfort liner and cheek pads are constructed with fleece Lycra and open-cell foam padding to absorb and evaporate perspiration. The new BioFoam head form panel and ventilated polyester padding maximize airflow around your head, ensuring coolness and comfort. Molded EPS ear pockets are designed to accommodate select aftermarket audio accessories.

The Biltwell GringoSV is both US DOT FMVSS No. 218 compliant and ECE R22.06 certified, ensuring it meets the highest safety standards for motorcycle helmets.
